Our Band is made up of young people who choose to play either the snare drum, cymbals, bass drum, bell lyre or bugle. They are trained by experienced musicians who have first hand experience of the benefits of being a part of the Band.
The London Massed Bugle Band was formed in 1982 for the Centenary of The Boys' Brigade and over the years has taken part in London events such as Jubilee celebrations and appearances at the London Marathon and Lord Mayor's Show, promotional Boys' Brigade and Girls' Brigade events including television recordings, BB Displays and Beating Retreat events, and tours to France, Belgium, Holland and the North West of England.
If you are a current Boys' Brigade, Girls Brigade, Girls' Association or Amicus member, becoming a part of the Band would benefit you in many ways, including musicality, leadership opportunities and as part of the badge work schemes. As a branch of our parent organisations we can offer you the opportunity to further your own development within your Company and provide you with the chance to try new and interesting challenges and experiences.
